Twill pocketing

Twill pocketing

Twill fabric is woven in a pattern of two over and one under, or three over and one under, which is different from plain weave fabric. Plain weave looks the same on both sides, while twill fabric has different front and back sides. The front shows a diagonal pattern going left or right, while the back doesn’t have a clear diagonal line. With the same yarn and density, plain weave is tightly woven and thick, whereas twill is relatively softer and looser.

Twill fabric is known for being absorbent, soft to the touch, comfortable and warm to wear, and breathable.
